Who is behind the h.e.s.e. Project in the UK?

John Rogers ONC, HND, FMAA

John Rogers has been an active RF and microwave engineer for the past 49 years and a full-time biophysicist (freelance consultant) for the past 20 years, specialising in the biological and pathological effects of microwave frequencies, specifically in the spectrum range of 900MHz to 5GHz (ie the spectrum currently used by mobile phones and wireless devices such as Bluetooth, WiFi and WiMax.

He is especialy concerned about the actual and potential affects these frequencies may be having on people’s health. He himself suffers from the condition previously known as ‘Microwave Syndrome’ and now refered to under the banner of ‘Electro Sensitivity’ (ES or EHS).

Whilst not trained to British medical degree level, he has for many years formaly studied both Chinese and Tibeten traditional medicine, and is legaly licensed to practice English Herbal Medicine. On a more practcal level, he has designed and built, biofeedback equipment for Charing Cross Hospital Psychology department and for private clients and firms, and has also undertaken opthalmic research on the time constant of the human Obicularis Occulis muscle.

In 1985/86 he succesfully designed and built a new type of non-invasive scanner whilst employed as a senior RF research technician at Kings College London. Since 1986 John has been exclusively engaged in freelance work specifically to do with symptoms and pathology attributed to the effects of low level (ie below 2 Volts/m) microwave/non-ionising radiation.

John is also conversant with the theory and concepts of vector potentials and scalar waves.

He is a founder member of the Acupuncture and Auricular Research Association in 1982.
